Franklin
Franklin no longer exists but was located on Ski Hill Road at the intersection of Fleetwood Road. In 1858 it was a bustling place with a school, two churches, grist mill, sawmill, railway station, grain elevators, cattle yards, hotels, blacksmith shop, two general stores and a Post Office. Names from this area included Downey, McGuires, Britain, Hadden, Tripp, Blake, Spiers, Flacks and Lytles.
