Burton
Burton was another little hamlet on the Manvers-Cartwright boundary a little west and north of Lotus. James McGill had a small general store that included the first Post Office. There was also a blacksmith shop, Methodist Church, Orange Hall and shingle mill. Names of this area included McGill, Stalker and Ferguson.
