The Bethany Post Office and Manvers Township Historical Society (MTHS) Research Centre is located at 1480 Hwy 7A, Bethany.
NOTE: The Research Centre will be closed between Christmas and New Years. Over the winter months, it will not be open during weather events.
The Bethany Post Office was built in 1875 and is one of the oldest restored free standing heritage post offices in the province. The Manvers Township Historical Society purchased the building in 1983 and has been working to restore the interior to allow it to be used for a local research centre. The research centre houses family genealogies, artifacts, and local history books.
The Research Centre at the Old Bethany Post Office is open to the public. This facility is operated by dedicated volunteers. The Research Centre will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Weekends will be appointment only.
