Ballyduff is located on the 5th/6th concession of Manvers. Once a bustling hamlet with a hotel, store, blacksmith shop and a shoemaker and farmers, it currently has an active Presbyterian Church and adjoining cemetery a few single family homes and farms. A former one room school house still stands on the property however, it is no longer active.
In the mid 1800’s Ballyduff was the largest established community of the area. Family names from the area at this time include – Baird, Benson, Byers, Hilliot, Lethangue, Melcom, Porter, Beard and Gilles.
